1. Our promise

We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and blog, email list, app, private community, workshops, gifts and shop.

2. What we collect

Information you give us
• Name, email address, and an optional mobile number, when you join the A List or other forms
• Account and profile details, including the alias or nickname you choose in the community
• Answers to membership questions and surveys (optional)
• Posts, comments and messages in the community, and comments on the blog
• Messages you send us
• Shipping details for shop orders

Payment information is handled by our processors (Skool/Stripe for memberships, Kajabi Payments for gifts, Shopify for the shop, Apple/Google for in-app purchases). We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically
• Device, browser, IP address and general location (city or region, not precise GPS)
• Pages viewed, links clicked and email opens, to improve what we send
• App performance data (crashes, feature use) and push notification tokens, if you allow notifications
• Cookies and similar tools for site function and analytics (for example, Google Analytics)

We do not knowingly collect information from children. LOTAL is for adults 18+. We ask members not to share identifying details about their kids.

3. How we use it

• To deliver the Services: membership access, emails, app features, workshops and orders
• To send the emails you signed up for (unsubscribe anytime)
• To send texts only if you opted in (reply STOP anytime)
• To understand what's helpful and improve our content, site and app
• To keep the community safe and enforce our guidelines
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run LOTAL, and only for that purpose:

• Kajabi: Email list, signup forms, gift checkout (Kajabi Payments)
• Skool (and Stripe): Private community, paid membership billing
• Zapier: Connects Skool to Kajabi so new members get member emails
• Showit / WordPress: Website and blog hosting
• Google (Workspace, Analytics, Firebase): Email, website analytics, app data
• AppyPie: App platform
• Apple App Store / Google Play: App distribution and in-app purchases
• Shopify, Printful/Printify: Shop orders and fulfillment
• Amazon Associates, Bookshop.org: Affiliate links (they may set their own cookies when you click)

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transfer. We never share community content with advertisers.

5. Community privacy

• Community content is visible only to members, not search engines.
• You may use an alias.
• What you share is visible to other members, so please share thoughtfully, especially about your children.
• Members agree that "what's shared here stays here," but we can't control what others do. Please report any breach to us.

6. Your choices and rights

• Email: unsubscribe via the link in any email.
• Texts: reply STOP.
• App notifications: turn them off in device settings.
• Cookies: adjust them in your browser.
• Access, correct or delete your data: email hello@lifeonthealist.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have additional rights, such as data portability or objecting to certain processing. We'll honor those requests as the law requires. We may need to verify your identity first.

7. Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards and trusted platforms, but no system is 100% secure. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymize it. If a data incident occurs, we'll notify you as the law requires.

8. International visitors

We're based in the United States. If you use the Services from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the U.S.

9. Changes

We'll post updates here with a new "Last Updated" date and email members about material changes.
